SFI's LocalPay coming soon!

As you may know, on May 2nd, we announced phase one of our new LocalPay program (see http://news.sfimg.com/index.php?entry=entry130502-103918 for complete information and detailed FAQs).

Today, we're excited to let you know that we've already approved 21 LocalPay applications in 12 different countries! They are:

India
Kenya
Nigeria
Thailand
United Kingdom
Canada
Monaco
South Africa
Singapore
Ghana
Bangladesh
Australia

IMPORTANT: Ordering is not operational yet, you cannot make any LocalPay purchases yet.

When CAN you start buying from your LocalPay merchant(s)? Programming for the TCurrency portion of LocalPay is being finished up now and we hope to have it live by May 25th. Be watching for the formal announcement.

What is LocalPay and why is it needed? In many countries, payment options for online transactions are limited. LocalPay, a brand new program created and operated exclusively by SFI, allows you to bypass those "roadblocks" and buy and pay locally--in your own currency--to TripleClicks ECAs in your region. In many cases you will even be able to pick up the products directly from the ECA and eliminate shipping charges, too!

Because any legitimate seller or business can be an LocalPay ECA, there's no limit to the kinds of products and services you will be able to buy--which will allow you to earn unlimited VersaPoints consuming the very same products you're ALREADY buying now (i.e. free VersaPoints!). Likewise, your customers can buy locally and earn you unlimited VersaPoints too!

Besides local products and services, your local ECAs can also choose to process orders for TCredits, WAVE3 kits, IAHBE subscriptions, SFI marketing aids, and more. And, yes, Standing Orders, too!

Was your country not on the above list? This means we haven't yet received a qualified application. Once we do, upon approval, you'll be able to start patronizing that ECA and earning VersaPoints locally.
