Muhmmad, Are You Sabotaging Your Dreams?
A good friend was telling me of an experience that happened to her the other day while she was at the doctors office.
She was talking to a man in the waiting room and learned that this person loved to travel. In fact, that is all he talked about. The places he wanted to go…the luxury hotels he wanted to stay at, fine restaurants he wanted to dine at. The activities he wanted to do such as scuba diving, deep sea fishing, relaxing on the beach in exotic locations. His descriptions were very vivid and it seemed like he was really there in his mind.
As the man completed his very detailed explanation of his “Dreams†he closed the conversation with this sentence:
“But I’ll probably never get to do all that because our family is too big plus those kinds of things are expensive.â€
Muhmmad, how many times in life do we have dreams and ambitions… things we really, really want in life but then we sabotage ourselves by saying things like…
“That will never happen to me.â€
“Only rich people can do that kind of stuff.â€
“Those kinds of things only happen to lucky people.â€
“I’m not that special so it probably won’t work out.â€
You see the MIND is a POWERFUL thing. If you tell yourself something…it will probably happen… Good or Bad.
Ask any 16 year old boy if he could have any car in life what would it be? The answer will be Porsche, Corvette, Lamborghini, Ferrari. Yet why is it that when we are “Adults†we settle for much much less? What happened to the Dream?
Somewhere down the road of becoming an adult we most likely sabotaged our dreams by thoughts described above. We end up just settling for things and just getting by to survive another day.
It doesn’t have to be that way though.
If you want something bad enough. If you have dreams about wanting something better. NEVER EVER finish the sentence or thought, that it will never happen. In fact do the exact opposite.
Write down your dreams. Create a vision board. Post it where you can see it every day and then most importantly.
TAKE ACTION to make those dreams a reality!!
You see, when you have dreams that are strong enough…and you work hard to achieve them, you remind yourself every day what they are and how you are going to get them…not caring what others around you say and something magical will happen…
You will achieve your dreams! You really will!
Remember what Henry Ford once said…

We recently introduced a new business tool to help you:
* Opt out from receiving messages from affiliates you prefer not to hear from.
* Analyze the responses of your own messages and mailings.
Currently, you can individually block:
* Stream posts
* Private messages (TeamMail)
* Group mailings (PSA Mailer, CSA Mailer, Genealogy Group Mailer)
For each of the above, just look for the new "Block" button or link where you receive the message. Click it, add your reason for blocking, and submit. The person will now be listed on your Block List here:

You can unblock someone just as easily. Simply go to your Block List and click the appropriate "Unblock" button.
At the top of your Block List, in the light gray box, are the statistics of people who have blocked YOU. And while we do not divulge WHO is blocking you, you can read the reasons they've opted out by clicking the "See reasons for blocks" link.
Note! This information can be invaluable in helping you learn how to best communicate with your team members, so check your stats at least once a week.
When you do a big mailing, for example, check to see if anyone has blocked you and the reasons given. Depending on this feedback, you MAY need to change your tone, leave certain topics out, or improve your writing in some fashion in your future mailings.
That said, do NOT get hung up on a few people opting out and complaining about your messages. You will never please everyone, and it is a recipe for lifetime unhappiness to try! Don't get upset if a small percentage of your group opt out. Ignore it (remember, you can't please everyone). However, if the numbers are significant (percentage-wise), definitely do take heed. The last thing you want to be doing is turning off your team with inappropriate messages. So DO listen to the feedback and take action when it's warranted.
